I am awestruck by the amount of work and effort Barack Obama has displayed in the weeks prior to his inaugaration. I cannot remember a previous president-elect working quite so tirelessly before he was even gifted with the power the oval office holds. He has much work ahead of him. He must fix many of the poor choices made by a prior administration and he must restore a nation's faith and optimism. I think he is up to the challenge. We will have to make changes and it will not be easy, but I am proud to call him president and for my son to recognize him as an authority figure.

I look forward to making the world a better place for my children, and for your children as well.
